Dairy State Degenerates: Caledonia-Franksville, WI

Image
Caledonia-Franksville has 2 convictions for a crime I haven't seen anywhere else in Wisconsin. Chase C. Tonar was convicted of sexual assault of a student by a staff member in 2016 (he was charged with 3 counts) and received 4 months in jail, 3 years probation, and 20 years registration as a sex offender. He lives at 2953 Forestview Circle.       Jason D. Matrise was convicted of the same crime in 2003 and sentenced to 2.5 years in prison with 3 years probation and 20 years RSO status, which expires in 2024. He lives at 600 60th Street.        Adam M. Schmitt committed incest against his stepchild and in 2010 received 4 years in prison, with credit for the 8 months he had served in jail. He was released in December 2013 and remained, until 2019, on probation. He will be registered as a sex offender until 2035 and lives with his smug attitude at 2023 Raymond Avenue.       Jonathan R. Schattner is the size of...

Sexual Abuse Counseling Week 12: Help Others Going Through Emotional Trauma

Image
The impact of helping others going through emotional trauma cannot be stressed enough. It does not have to be sexual abuse: it can be a bad breakup, a bad grade, or a bad day. Recognizing your coping mechanisms and seeking to help others is indicative of a higher level of emotional maturity as well as real progress.      Helping others also reminds one that humans are fragile creatures by nature, a result of excellence and, as hard as it may sometimes be to see, a natural compassion that allows the species to progress rather than content itself coasting by, just surviving. Although it may remind whomever you are helping that they are not alone, it will also do the same for you.      Famous musicians, politicians, scientists, and other heroes have had tragic backgrounds and gone on to lead successful lives, and anyone is capable of doing this if they possess the right skills. Sometimes, people are put in each other's lives for a re...

To Catch A Predator Update: Fortson, Part One

Image
John Adam Daniels was convicted of attempted child molestation in 2007 and sentenced to 5-10 years in prison. He was released in 2012. In 2015, he was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender in Alabama, and he served from December 2016 to May 2020. Christopher Xavier Cannon was sentenced to 5 years in prison and released in 2011 after serving his full sentence. He remains on probation until 2026 and must be an RSO for life. The youth church director is now banned from unsupervised contact with youths. Rolando Restocruz was a staff sergeant who brought a camisole, a webcam, lube, and condoms in his truck. He received 5 years and was released in 2011 after serving most of his sentence. He will remain on probation until 2036 and must register as a sex offender for life. He is currently wanted for failure to register as a sex offender and faces prison and probation extension when he is caught. Gerald White was the man who tried to bring riding boots and hypnotize a child...

Dairy State Degenerates: Mineral Point, WI

Image
Roger A. Bellinder was convicted of child enticement, statutory rape, bail jumping (10 counts of it were dismissed), and exposure of harmful materials. He was sentenced to 9 years in prison, released in 2017 after serving his full sentence, and placed on probation until 2025 and lifetime RSO status. His wife filed for divorce immediately after his arrest. He is currently appealing his conviction for rape. He lives at 535 Ridge St. Apartment 17.       Wayne A Schneidewind used a computer to facilitate a child sex crime and received 5 years in prison, which was reduced to 1 year upon appeal. He was ordered to spend 9 years on probation, which ended in 2018, and register as a sex offender for 25 years. He lives at 39 High Street, Apartment 2B.       George Coggon went without committing a crime for 65 years, until, in 2004, he raped a child and earned 5 years of probation and lifetime RSO status. Unfortunately, he is...

Sexual Abuse Counseling Week 11: Discover Ways To Manage Your Emotions

Image
Numerous tools have been given to you over the past 10 weeks, from finding a support group to finding a creative outlet, from focusing on the little things in life to finding a higher purpose. You were never told one thing: why?      Sadness will happen. Guilt will happen. Anger will happen. Negative emotions are a natural part of biology, designed to keep people safe. However, it is up to you to manage them. These thoughts in most contexts function only to lead you astray and lie to you. You need to put yourself in control of what you think, feel, say, and do, because only the can you take control of your life.      Some methods may work for everyone, and all methods may work for someone, but not all methods will work for everyone. Find what works for you and make an active effort to better your life. It is not a motivational mantra; it can be reality.

To Catch A Predator Update: Jackson, Mississippi

Image
Roberto Rosas earned himself a sentence of 10 years probation and lifetime RSO status despite thinking he was in the clear, but they were mostly just trophy stipulations as he was immediately deported back to Mexico.       Justin David Shaffer was a scary man. He had previously been convicted of a murder, which was later overturned after he served 9 years, and was also a suspect in a series of rapes. He wasn't able to get away with soliciting a child and bringing a knife to meet her at a church bench, however. He received 25 years in prison with no possibility for early release followed by $50,000 in fines and lifetime RSO status once he is released in the 2030s.       Johnny Chain actually begged to come see a minor and was rewarded with a year in prison with credit for the time he had served followed by lifetime RSO status. He initially planned to fight the charges, but was wise in pleading guilty for a lighter ...

Dairy State Degenerates: Onalaska, WI

Image
Heath Harper groped and exposed himself to a child but ended up with a measly sentence of 6 months in jail and 4 years of sex offender probation, which ends in 2022. He lives at 2101 Kyle Lane.       Erin Hanson gave drugs to a minor and had sex with said child repeatedly, ending up with 2 years in prison, probation until 2013, and lifetime RSO status. She lives at 913 12th Avenue S. Apartment 8 and is banned from contact with minors, including her relatives.       Paul Lewis is a particularly nasty old sack of vericose veins and crepey skin. In 2015, at age 70, he was convicted of child porn. He has since moved to Onalaska, specifically W. 5931 Schultz Lane.        Timothy D. Pierce is another out-of-state conviction, specifically a charge for indecent liberties with a child in New Jersey stemming from 2003. He lives at 302 11th Avenue S.        Daniel A. Nichols was convicted of chil...

Sexual Abuse Counseling Week 10: The Power Of Diet And Exercise

Image
Medication for depression and anxiety resulting from my abuse has had its ups and downs. However, it is definitely worth it when one is able to wake up every morning. Some medications, however, cause weight gain, and the impact this has on one's self esteem does not help depression.      Exercise is an answer. I have lost more than 20 pounds in 2 months by eating a healthier diet and combining cardio and weightlifting. It made me confident enough to wear a tank top. It also made me realize that stuffing myself with food was really a small part of my life, a defense mechanism for sadness that only made me sadder.      I also realized that exercise is empowering. I have taken to exercising in the morning, because I feel so liberated even doing it. Rather than internalizing aggression, it is used as energy that is released in every rapid heart pump or every muscle flex. What I once dreaded, I now look forward to!      Exercis...

To Catch A Predator Update: Fort Myers, Part Two

Image
Not all the predators caught were unfortunate: Thomas Moffitt , Michael Wilusz , and Brian Gosselin retained a lawyer (to be highlighted in a future post) who made all three of them among the few outside of Murphy, Texas to get off. A hard drive crash destroyed these chat logs as well as those of Maurice Wolin and James Wiles. The lawyer attacked Perverted Justice's methods; Thomas Moffitt was acquitted because he never set foot in the house; Brian Gosselin avoided sexual language as best he could; Michael Wilusz, despite having confessed, got away due to aforementioned hard drive crash. Little is known about the men except that Wilusz lives in an affluent neighborhood of Lakeland, Florida, Gosselin save that he worked as a chauffeur, or Thomas Moffitt except that he is still married.       Dennis Ramsey got exactly what he deserved. He tried to use the excuse that he got amnesia and could not remember the sting. He fought his case all t...

Dairy State Degenerates: Eagle River, WI

Image
A Northeast Wisconsin child predator sting in 2017 arrested dozens, several of whom are now registered as sex offenders in Eagle River. Daniel E. Schellinger didn't show up, but his sexual chat and transmission of pornography was enough to damage a child for life and thus a felony, for which charges of child pornography were dropped and he received a year in prison and probation until at least 2023 to go with his lifetime RSO status. He lives at 2855 Deerskin Park Road. He also has priors for fleeing an officer, grand theft auto, and hit and run resulting in injury.       Eric J. Bergum showed up and was convicted of child enticement, earning 9 months in jail followed by probation and at least 20 years of sex offender registration. He lives at 3699 Shangri La Road, and he can have a second chance when he turns 60, or not.      Some convictions, however, dated back. Joshua D. Leach was a serial rapist, charged with several count...

Sexual Abuse Counseling Week 9: Find Your Higher Purpose

Image
Not much can be said about finding one's higher purpose, as complicated a subject as it seems. People are born with passions, but these sometimes fade as life intervenes and forces mediocrity and monotony upon unsuspecting people. It really is not healthy: if people are only able to think of themselves, they are more vulnerable to emotions that may lead them astray.      How to know? You'll know. What are you passionate about doing? Who are you passionate about helping? What issue are you passionate about addressing? It doesn't have to be running for Congress or finding the cure for cancer. Even running food drives, cleaning up parks and beaches, or volunteering at an animal shelter provides a sense of purpose that triumphs over virtually all negativity.      If one is able to look beyond themselves, they can demonstrate perfectly that they are in control of their own destiny and that what has happened has no bearing on the lifest...

To Catch A Predator Update: Fort Myers, Part One

Image
An example of how strange Fort Myers' predators were was Donald Morrison , a middle-aged man in glasses and a stained shirt who lived with his mom. Despite having been arrested for taking nude pictures of a 17-year-old girl in Texas, he received only 9 months in jail and 3 years probation to accompany his lifetime RSO status. In 2012, he was arrested for viewing pictures of children on a library computer, but his sentence for that violation is unknown. He ran a YouTube channel in which he referred to channel members as slaves and defended his actions, and, while limited by dialysis treatments, he has given interviews.       Brian Emmons was the soulless-eyed church leader who was convicted of both child solicitation and child pornography (in 2006 and 2009 respectively) and sentenced to 1 year and 9 months in prison. Not much is known about one of the scarier predators caught in Fort Myers.       Thomas Coffen ...

NBC Glorifies Child Molestors

Image
My, how the mighty have fallen. I understand the complexities of new staff, affiliates, and freelance journalism, but you would think NBC would remember their past before they published this sort of slop. I'll use terms simple enough for Brandy Zadrozny to understand. She's a failed mother and journalist hungry for a story to make her a martyr, and she doesn't care how low she has to stoop to get her next scoop.      Incognito, the founder of PopSquad, lured 20-year-old Allain Malcolm online and made him kill himself, she insists; he wasn't doing anything wrong. PopSquad caught a seven-time sexual convict, a dean who handled sexual assault cases, a special education teacher caught having sex with his students and posting the videos, a high school yearbook photographer, a registered sex offender, numerous school employees, a vet who crossed state lines, and other forms of scum. Allain should get a free pass, though, according to Brandy, because h...

Marsha Bartel: A Miserable, Insecure Old Woman

Image
Marsha Bartel was already in her fifties when NBC decided to let her go. She seems to think it was because she was opposed to "To Catch A Predator." What she fails to realize is that this was not the cause of her dismissal, but a symptom of the cause. She believes that the law enforcement agencies and hundreds of officers from 7 different states as well as the KBI, the GBI, the FBI, and the Attorney General's Office of Kentucky were not professional, despite only one officer ever being accused of misconduct from the investigations.      She is out-of-touch. She calls herself an "award-winning journalist," but why anyone would give her an award is beyond me. She is almost old enough to collect Social Security benefits, and she has done nothing but work for a few local stations in the past 12 years. She seems to hold some vague notion of journalistic integrity in higher regard than the safety of her children.      I hope she didn't ...

Dairy State Degenerates: Hartland, WI

Image
David Ackley , who was highlighted in the Milwaukee "To Catch A Predator" segment, lives at 633 Belshire Drive in Hartland, WI. UPDATE .       Brian Matthew Schultz was convicted of the same crime at age 20 and received 9 months in jail, 10 years probation, and 20 years sex offender registration. He lives at 315 Prospect Avenue, Apartment 2.       Justin Cull pled guilty to using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime in exchange for 3 child enticement and harmful matter charges being dropped. He received 15 years of probation, which ends in 2027, a year in jail, and 25 years of sex offender registration. He lives at 530 Windstone Drive Unit 303.        Kevin Duane Crull was sentenced to 3 years in prison, 10 years of probation, and lifetime RSO status for possession of child pornography, and his wife divorced him while he was in prison. He lives at 529 Merton Avenue, Apartment 1. ...

All Sex Crimes Cause A Lifetime Of Damage

Image
The number of people who do not have the mental capacity to realize that all sex crimes have lifelong impacts is shocking. Some people seem to think that if someone exposes themself to a child or gropes a waitress, then no harm is done.       However, even the most minor crimes can have dramatic impacts. A child who is solicited online or sent harmful matter may not be physically violated, but their world is changed forever. They have been exposed to a host of questions as well as a realm of confusion that they were not meant to be exposed to by a pervert online. There are also all the risks that come with that.      Someone who is groped or flashed still experiences the debilitating impacts of losing trust they once had as well as difficulty in forming meaningful relationships. Prison for sexual predators: no exceptions!

Sexual Abuse Counseling Week 8: Find Joy In The Little Things In Life

Image
Life truly is wonderful. Realizing this can help you temporarily set aside anguish that you feel. Whether immersing yourself in something you enjoy or making a list, positive feelings result almost immediately. I have my own example, from my favorite flowers to my favorite food. Having this list in a reliable spot can give you something to focus on when you are feeling down. They should be little things that you would normally do without thinking:        -Playing music, from the bass to the mandolin.      -Listening to music. Jazz and classical are relaxing, country is nostalgic, and rock helps purge pent up anger.      -Drinking black tea and black coffee.      -The first draw of a cheap cigar.      -Writing and reading just about anything.      -The smell of lilacs and autumn.      As much as I love my family, they are not little things, and one should atte...
