Dairy State Degenerates: Eagle River, WI

 

     A Northeast Wisconsin child predator sting in 2017 arrested dozens, several of whom are now registered as sex offenders in Eagle River. Daniel E. Schellinger didn't show up, but his sexual chat and transmission of pornography was enough to damage a child for life and thus a felony, for which charges of child pornography were dropped and he received a year in prison and probation until at least 2023 to go with his lifetime RSO status. He lives at 2855 Deerskin Park Road. He also has priors for fleeing an officer, grand theft auto, and hit and run resulting in injury.

     Eric J. Bergum showed up and was convicted of child enticement, earning 9 months in jail followed by probation and at least 20 years of sex offender registration. He lives at 3699 Shangri La Road, and he can have a second chance when he turns 60, or not.

     Some convictions, however, dated back. Joshua D. Leach was a serial rapist, charged with several counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child, capturing images of nudity, causing mental harm to a minor, child enticement, and victim intimidation. He pled guilty to enticement and received a merciful 4 years in prison, 10 years probation (ending in 2026), and 35 years registration as a sex offender. Have a nice life at 1120 Bloom Road, you sack of shit.

     Christopher J. Hyatt was convicted way back in 1998 of child enticement and second-degree sexual assault and earned 15 years in prison. He was released in 2009 and had his probation revoked in 2014, for which he spent 4 years in prison. He was released in 2018 and must remain on probation until 2023. He must register as a sex offender for life. He lives at 214 E. Wall Street. Idiot.

     Christopher L. Castillo was convicted of child enticement and first-degree sexual assault of a child and sentenced to 12 years in prison and 13 years probation, taking a plea agreement to avoid a life term. He remains on probation and must register as a sex offender for life. He lives at 1347 White Pine Drive, and sports a pedo haircut.

     Russell J. Andrews was convicted of first-degree rape of a child in August 1991 and remained in prison until February 1995. While in prison, an older relative left their child rapist an inheritance. He was convicted of felony firearm and marijuana possession in 1998 and was sentenced to a measly 2 months in jail and 6 months of license suspension. While in jail, he received another inheritance. In 2001, his wife filed for divorce, and in 2003 he was convicted of marijuana possession, disorderly conduct, and trespass and given 4-6 months in jail, 3 years of probation, and 6 months license suspension. In 2005, his ex-wife filed a restraining order against him. This pile of pond scum lives at 925 Elm Drive.

     Scott Dunberg was convicted of second-degree sexual assault of a child and sentenced to 13 years in prison. His motions appealing his sentence and asking for early release were denied, and he was released in 2020. He must remain on probation until 2030 and register as a sex offender for life. He lives at 418 East Pine Street, and sports no hair.
