           Larry Lee Sypolt  suffered for his chat even though he didn't show up. After being convicted in 2010, he earned probation until 2015, the conditions of which banned him from using a computer and mandated several thousand dollars in fines, and, even better, he had to register as a sex offender for life. He lives in Garden City, Michigan.      Scott Joseph Derouin  didn't show up, but was still one of the worst caught in the investigation: the man from Escanaba had child porn. He received a year in jail with probation until 2015 and sex offender registration until 2025, with harsh restrictions placed on him.      Jason Robert Bigelow  traveled 150 minutes to meet a child and drink her urine, which earned him 525,600-10,512,000 minutes, or 1-20 years, behind bars. He was released after only a year, but he will be an RSO until at least 2034 and live the rest of his life as a felon (think of what he'll have to write on job applications).        Qays "Matt" Mahjoob was born on May 10th, 1982. 5'9" and 185 pounds, he has brown eyes but wore blue contacts to alter their color. He had an affinity for guitar and fast food. He didn't smoke cigarettes and advised the decoy not to (that would be harmful to her), but smoked marijuana on a regular basis.      In August 2006, he hit on another decoy during the time of the sting in Petaluma, California. The decoy was preoccupied, so Qays Mahjoob began chatting with a 13-year-old girl named Willow using the screen name "longbeachdude19," a reference to the fact that he lived 10 minutes away from the sting house and started his AOL account in late 2001 or early 2002. He took his time, asking the girl if she had a boyfriend (she said she broke up with her 15-year-old ex because he was a dick) and discussing fast food during the first chat before getting graphic in the subsequent conversations.        Oanh Hoang Le was born on December 6th, 1967. A Vietnamese national, he likely arrived in Florida at a young age, as his mother also lived in the state. Le worked at a printing shop in Orlando at the time of his arrest. He was and is 5'5", 135-140 pounds, and has a scar on his head.      One of numerous Flagler Beach predators to pop up around his birthday, he initially contacted the decoy on December 3rd, 2006, using the screen name, "orl00fun." He had an odd chat. In spite of the language barrier being made obvious by his use of broken phrases, he knew what he was looking for. He told the decoy, pretending to be a 13-year-old girl named Jennah, that he was looking for a female between the ages of 25 and 45, asking her if she knew a single person. When Jennah replied that her great aunt was single but over the age of 60, he initially said that he was too "young and wild for her" before asking if she had nice breasts and a good body and explaining th

       Marvin L. Bailey , born on May 28th, 1962, was arrested on December 1st, 1994, charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child and a count of first-degree sexual assault of a child. He ultimately pleaded guilty to one count of the former on February 22nd, 1996, and was sentenced to five years in state prison with lifetime registration as a sex offender. He served the entirety of his sentence and was released on February 13th, 2001. His wife divorced him in 1999, while he was in prison. In 2010, he was arrested for attempting to rape another child and for exposing his genitals, ultimately being sentenced to 9 months in jail with 2 years probation. He was sentenced on August 29th, 2011, released in May 2012, and remained on probation until 2014. He was divorced again in 2010.        Satinder Singh Thind was born on June 3rd, 1983. After graduating high school in 2001, he attended California State University at Long Beach, earning a bachelor's degree in business management in 2005. Settling in Long Beach, he worked as a loan consultant and lived less than a mile from the sting house.       On September 2nd, 2006, Singh, using the screen name sst83, began a chat with a 13-year-old girl whose screen name was, well, 13_year_old_girl. He got graphic almost immediately, asking her if she had a boyfriend, if she had ever performed oral sex or given or received sex with the hands, what her height and weight was, and if she masturbated. Some of his quotes became the most famous in the show: he said, "Yep, I knew it: you're a horny little 13-year-old girl," "Imma gonna lick you," and "Girls can't really process the emotion of sex until 16 at the earliest."       He arrived at the sting house on September 10th, 2006, in spite

           The first inductee into the Fat Predator Hall of Fame was born on March 15th, 1957, and resided in Arcadia, California. Daniel Allen finished high school in 1968 and graduated UC-Santa Barbara in 1972, describing these as the "best four years of his life." He liked to fish, ride motorcycles, and work on a 1966 Ford pickup and a Schwinn Stingray. He drove a custom 2001 Mustang GT Bullitt and hoped to expand his vehicle collection.      Allen had liaisons with numerous women in the 1980s and 1990s, but none of his relationships worked out long-term. He had one child, a daughter who he said was "16, maybe 15" (implying she was born in 1989 but he didn't know her birthday) and lived in Sacramento. A young woman called "Daniella" recently appeared on Chris Hansen's podcast "Predators I've Caught" to discuss her father. It was made fairly obvious that he was a narcissist, as his profession was not "buying and selling antique

      "To Catch A Predator" in Grand Rapids was a smashing success. Jason Jay Ebels had license restrictions and suffered from leukemia, but that didn't stop him from coming to rape a child. He was sentenced to 18 months to 20 years in prison. He remains incarcerated and could spend the rest of his life in prison, as the solicitation charge he was also convicted of separately carried a sentence of 15 years minimum.      Fredrick Eugene Davis , 66, was one of the oldest men exposed by Perverted Justice. He also had a vile chat and earned himself 1-20 years in prison. He was not placed on the sex offender registry, which likely means he died in prison.      Jarrad Box was a cosmetologist sentenced to 18 months to 20 years in prison.         Anthony S. Jazinski only has one criminal conviction and a parking ticket on his record. He's still shit, however, because his sole criminal conviction is a sex crime against a child, the worst sort that can be committed. More specifically, on September 29th, 2003, the then-34-year-old Arizona native was convicted of repeatedly having sex with a female child under the age of 16. He was sentenced 3.5 years in state prison with 6.5 years of probation and electronic monitoring, as well as $97 in court costs and lifetime RSO status. He lives at 8314 North Regent Road in Fox Point, Wisconsin, 53217.       James P. Brown , 52 years old at the time, was convicted of using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime on May 3rd, 2013. He was sentenced to a year in a halfway house with work release, 17 years of probation, and lifetime registration as a sex offender. He received 5 years probation and 25 years registration as a sex offender, which expires in 2034, a stiffer sentence than some men who showed up in other states.       Curtis Potts received a sentence of 18 months to 20 years in prison. He served until at least 2010. Because he was young, he did not have to register as a sex offender.      As Cody Kozicki continues to fight the charges filed against him almost two years ago, I have launched a new  petition  to try to raise awareness around the issue and ensure he spends some time in prison:       Cody Kozicki's story is an interesting one. In November 2019, he was arrested at school in Pulaski, Wisconsin, and charged with three felony counts of exposing a minor to harmful materials, punishable by a total of 126 months (10.5 years) in prison. 17 at the time, one would be inclined to have some level of mercy on him, until the details of the case, his history of serial predation on young girls, and his actions after his arrest are considered.      The victims that got Kozicki arrested were girls between the ages of seven and nine who were sent unsolicited pictures of Kozicki's genitals. Before this arrest, he sent similar pictures to group chats and social media accounts of dozens of other girls in the district ranging from the ages of 11 to 16. When the girls

        Jonathan David Doebler received a sentence of 1-20 years in prison with sex offender registration until at least 2033. I know little about him, but, judging by the fact that he was still in prison when his conviction was posted, he served at least 2 years before being released.       David Benton Smith tried to plead guilty for a 6-month sentence, but his plea was refused and he faced trial. He entered a new plea deal and received 16 months to 10 years in prison with lifetime registration as a sex offender. As his registration is lifetime, I don't know how long he served, but it was likely more than 3 years as he was charged with 6 felonies. He lives in Albion, Michigan.       Johnny Ray Stanley was a very sick man, even though he didn't show up. He began asking a child if she had had sex within 2 minutes and continued sending sexual pictures and messages for over 2 months. He pled guilty and received 30 days in jail, probation until 2013, and RSO status until 2033,

      Alvin Joseph Hall, Jr. was a fast mover, if men like Lorne Armstrong are any comparison. He had two separate chats, using the screen name "bluegrizzly32," between 6:30 PM and midnight on January 7th, 2006, and drove across town to meet the decoy in the wee hours that night. His chat was a relatively tame one, lacking any of the toilet or bondage fetishes other predators displayed.      However, that didn't make him any less creepy. This 24-year-old, born on August 5th, 1981 , was a lifelong Riverside resident who decided to try to sleep with a girl half his age. After mentioning his brothers and sister, asking if the girl drank and smoked marijuana, and talking about his experience at parties and bonfires, he asked the decoy he believed to be a 12-year-old about the clothes she liked to wear, her previous experience with boyfriends, her breasts and her mom's breasts, and, in graphic detail, if she would perform oral sex on him.      Brian Alan Dory was born on March 12th, 1982. His mother and father separated when he was young: he stayed with his mother and his sister and his father took a half-brother. Raised in Orlando, he lived in Longwood and worked as an interior landscape designer (a job that involves designing plant displays, primarily for places like hotel lobbies and businesses). He shared an apartment with a friend and was single at the time of the sting. However, he met his prior girlfriend, whom he dated for three years, online; she was apparently 22 when they broke it off in 2006.       Using the screen name "briman31282," Dory began chatting with a decoy he thought was a 14-year-old girl named Allison, or "Allie," on November 20th, 2006. He called her a "hottie" and said she had a "sexy smile" before discussing food at length with her.      Stanley Allen Kendall was born on July 15th, 1952, in Rochester, Indiana, to parents William "Henry" and Ruth (Alderfer) Kendall. He had a sister named Sherri and a brother named Larry, and grew up in Argos. He went to high school there, graduating in 1970, before earning his B.A. in Elementary Education from Bethel College in 1974.      Kendall moved to Texas in 1983 and taught in several elementary and middle schools, although he likely failed to mention the former to Chris Hansen for fear it would look bad (as if that would make the difference). He lived in Mesquite, outside of Dallas, and taught middle school mathematics at the time of his arrest.      Kendall initiated a chat with a decoy he thought was a thirteen-year-old boy named Kyle at 8:45 PM on November 1st, 2006, using the screen name "STANEMAC12." His chat was quite graphic: in half an hour, he learned the decoy's age, sent a picture of his genitals and solicited the same from the decoy, ment

     I've said it once and I will say it again: Thomas John Bodnar was debatably the worst person ever caught on the show. While many laughs were had in Riverside, Bodnar's was a profile of a serial sex predator inflicting pain upon virtually everyone he came into contact with.      Bodnar was born on June 12th, 1963. In 1984, he molested three siblings (Ed and Dazarie Holcomb and a younger sibling whose name is unknown) between the ages of six and nine on dozens of occasions. Ed had a developmental disability and bore the brunt of the abuse. Bodnar worked as a mentor in a Big Brother Program in Salem, Oregon, and engaged in oral sex with the victims in the home of their single mother and in his office. He received a 10-year prison sentence in this case. In 1999, he was arrested for meeting a 15-year-old boy online, taking him to a hotel room in Palm Springs, and performing oral sex on him. He spent three years in state prison.      After his release from prison, Bodnar settled

           Michael Wayne Knight single-handedly dispelled the myth that decoys have to beg for men to come when he asked 51 times if he could come, and he earned himself 2-20 years in prison. I have been unable to find any information regarding his release or sex offender registration, and thus his eventual fate is unknown.       Luis Felipe Huertas was sentenced to a year in prison, lifetime sex offender registration, and deported from the United States. His appeal was denied, and his wife and children had to remain in the U.S., perhaps the biggest punishment he received but certainly the most deserved.       Dennis Ray Frick was already a registered sex offender and earned himself a 10-year prison sentence. He spent more than 6 years in prison before being released and remained on probation until 2020.
