Demand The Maximum Sentence For Serial Child Predator Cody Kozicki

     As Cody Kozicki continues to fight the charges filed against him almost two years ago, I have launched a new petition to try to raise awareness around the issue and ensure he spends some time in prison:

     Cody Kozicki's story is an interesting one. In November 2019, he was arrested at school in Pulaski, Wisconsin, and charged with three felony counts of exposing a minor to harmful materials, punishable by a total of 126 months (10.5 years) in prison. 17 at the time, one would be inclined to have some level of mercy on him, until the details of the case, his history of serial predation on young girls, and his actions after his arrest are considered.

     The victims that got Kozicki arrested were girls between the ages of seven and nine who were sent unsolicited pictures of Kozicki's genitals. Before this arrest, he sent similar pictures to group chats and social media accounts of dozens of other girls in the district ranging from the ages of 11 to 16. When the girls attempted to report the incidents to school administrators, said staff maintained there was nothing they could do about his behavior.

     Getting hauled out of school wasn't enough for Kozicki. He violated the conditions of his release from jail three times, earning three felony bond jumping charges punishable by an extra 216 months (18 years) in state prison. This occurred when he hopped back on social media, a clear sign that his predilection toward child exploitation is impossible to control.

     For the safety of our community and for all those girls who will never have their day in court, we demand that Cody Kozicki be sentenced to 342 months (28.5 years) in prison with lifetime registration as a sex offender!!!

     Matthew Clifton Cogburn was born on July 22nd, 1984, in Gray, Georgia, where he was raised and ultimately spent his life. Apparently, his childhood was fairly normal for a kid in Georgia: he spent eight years flattening out a pile of dirt near his home, enjoyed playing with LEGOs, was an average student in school, and was raised as a very religious child, attending church camps every summer.
