To Catch A Predator Update: Detroit, Part One

     

     Michael Wayne Knight single-handedly dispelled the myth that decoys have to beg for men to come when he asked 51 times if he could come, and he earned himself 2-20 years in prison. I have been unable to find any information regarding his release or sex offender registration, and thus his eventual fate is unknown.

     Luis Felipe Huertas was sentenced to a year in prison, lifetime sex offender registration, and deported from the United States. His appeal was denied, and his wife and children had to remain in the U.S., perhaps the biggest punishment he received but certainly the most deserved.

     Dennis Ray Frick was already a registered sex offender and earned himself a 10-year prison sentence. He spent more than 6 years in prison before being released and remained on probation until 2020. He must remain a sex offender until 2040.

     Tory Cooper was unable to bail out and spent 13 months in jail before pleading guilty and receiving time served with lifetime registration as a sex offender. He was heartbroken to learn there were no tanning beds in prison.

     David Wayne Talbot was the first to plead guilty and received 18 months in prison with sex offender registration until 2035. 

     Frank Suski was convicted and spent a year in prison before being released in 2009 (he had been unable to bail out) with sex offender registration until 2034. He lives in Allen Park, Michigan.

     Armando Frank Lopez had been born into violence and drugs and was weeks away from getting his architecture degree from the University of Michigan. He was arrogant and smiling and hired an arrogant and smiling lawyer who seemed convinced they would pull through. He was sentenced to 1-20 years in prison with 25 years registration as a sex offender. His release date was unknown, but he has likely returned to Arizona.

     Johnathon Thomas Foster was sentenced to 13 months to 20 years in prison and released in August 2009 after serving roughly 15 months. He remained on probation for several years and must register as a sex offender until 2034. He lives in Ecorse, Michigan.

     Keith Smallman exposed himself to Del Harvey upon arrival and brought a family member who confronted the police and was detained. Typical white trash family, and Keith earned a 5-20 year prison sentenced. He was released in 2015 after serving more than 6 years, and he must register as a sex offender until 2040. He lives in Taylor, Michigan.

     Audberto Cesar Antonini was a doctor who once worked for the Michigan prison system. He tried to commit suicide on the day of his trial, but still ended up with a 1-20 year prison sentence. Because he had also been convicted of molesting a teenage patient in California after his Michigan arrest, he likely served quite a bit of time. Because his registration is permanent, however, I have no way of knowing. He lives in Detroit, his medical license having been revoked. 

     Mugilvannan Rajagopal was sponsored by Ford on a work visa. He pled guilty and received 1 year in prison, which he had already served, and was immediately deported from the United States. 

     Damon Thomas, AKA "dicksobig69," was sentenced to 18 months in prison, released in 2010, and ordered to spend 10 years on the sex offender registry, which ended in 2020. He still lives in Detroit, Michigan.

     Patrick Hauler only chatted and ended up with 6 months in jail, 3 years probation, and 25 years RSO status. However, Michigan decided to keep him a little longer, as he spent 3.5 years in jail before being released. He lives in Warren, a suburb of Detroit, and a fee violation may land him back behind bars.

     Nor did Joshua Fuhr show up. However, he was arrested and, after 4 months in jail, sentenced to 3 years probation, credit for time served, and 25 years as a registered sex offender, which ends in 2033. He lives in Grand Rapids.
