Poop-Eating Texas Teacher Predator Fired Twice

Stanley Allen Kendall was born on July 15th, 1952, in Rochester, Indiana, to parents William "Henry" and Ruth (Alderfer) Kendall. He had a sister named Sherri and a brother named Larry, and grew up in Argos. He went to high school there, graduating in 1970, before earning his B.A. in Elementary Education from Bethel College in 1974.

Kendall moved to Texas in 1983 and taught in several elementary and middle schools, although he likely failed to mention the former to Chris Hansen for fear it would look bad (as if that would make the difference). He lived in Mesquite, outside of Dallas, and taught middle school mathematics at the time of his arrest.

Kendall initiated a chat with a decoy he thought was a thirteen-year-old boy named Kyle at 8:45 PM on November 1st, 2006, using the screen name "STANEMAC12." His chat was quite graphic: in half an hour, he learned the decoy's age, sent a picture of his genitals and solicited the same from the decoy, mentioned ejaculation and erections, and gave his infamous quote regarding his affinity for oral and anal sex as well as playing with nipples. He arranged a meet and showed up on November 2nd, the first evening of the sting.

During his interview, he claimed he thought it was a joke or a sting, denied Chris's suggestion that he could have had a relationship with a student, brought up religion, and expressed regret over the obvious end to his teaching career after an extensive interaction with the decoy, Dan. Chris used numerous one-liners, asking Kendall what the "lesson plan" was and "which part of the Bible, the Old Testament or the New Testament" sexually soliciting a child was in. Kendall also revealed he had four children, making it likely the relationship failed as a result of his sexuality or his attraction toward children. Said children or any former partners were not mentioned in his obituary.

When the cameras came out, Kendall apologized and left, unaware that the police were outside. He was taken into custody without incident, searched, and booked. During his interview, he expressed his anxiety and appeared to fully grasp the severity of the situation. His excuse was that he believed the decoy was not telling the truth about his age. A search of his car revealed MapQuest directions to the house, and Kendall's bond was set at $50,000. Police Chief Billy Myrick notified the school where Kendall was employed, and Kendall was placed on administrative leave.

In June 2007, the charges against Kendall were dropped after a series of controversies surrounding the Murphy sting, including the suicide of Louis Conradt.

Kendall returned to Indiana in 2013, settling at Rattington Circle in Warsaw. He received a substitute license from the state that year, but was fired from the schools he worked at in 2014 after a TCAP viewer reported him. He spent his final years in declining health, chatting with (as far as we know, all adult) men online, including, infamously, another decoy, a "realtor named Craig." Videos surfaced of Kendall performing disgusting sex acts, including eating feces in his living room and performing a tease in his bathroom mirror.

Kendall died at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne on May 31st, 2017, aged 64, of an undisclosed illness. His time of death was 5:43 AM. His family held a viewing and a a burial on June 2nd and June 3rd.
