           Perverted Justice also encountered quite a bit of success with the wonderful folks in Santa Barbara. Kent Grant , for example, thought lying about his age by 5 years and only alluding to sex would save him from lifetime RSO status. He was wrong, of course, being convicted in 2013.        Matthew Allan Tucker , on the other hand, was quite graphic. In 2013, he decided to take his case to trial and was swiftly convicted and forced to register as a sex offender for life.        Michael Robert Garcia 's date to take a child to a nude beach failed, and in 2012 he found himself with a conviction for arranging to meet a minor to commit a specified sex offense and a wonderful reward of lifetime RSO status.       Christopher Earl Seliskar made the mistake of soliciting a minor while an active-duty Air Force member. He earned a military sentence of 3 years in the brig, followed by lifetime sex offender duty, in 2013. 

     George Earnest Huffman III worked as a truck driver out of Perry, a quiet township just outside of Lansing, but he tried to make his way into the political world while his truck was filling up on gas. In 2010, he ran against Darwin Booher in the Democratic primary for Michigan House of Representatives District 102, being defeated on August 3rd. He tried again in 2012, but lost 67-33 to Brendan Maturen on August 7th. I can't speculate as to Huffman's political ideology, as he never won any elected office. However, he has all the characteristics of a Trump supporter. Disillusioned Midwestern blue-collar workers won Trump the electoral (if not the popular) vote in 2016. Among his supporters included former Democrats, and, in 2016, Huffman ran for U.S. Senate for the U.S. Taxpayers Party, known nationally as the Constitution Party, a party more conservative than even Republicans. He only garnered 0.6 percent of the vote, but that means 27,000 Michiganders voted for him.      T

          Joshua Colon chatted up a 12-year-old girl for sex and admitted that he had previously raped a 15-year-old boy. Despite this, he was convicted of only 3 felonies and sentenced to 3 years in prison with 5 years probation and 10 years RSO status. He was released in May 2019 after serving all 3 years and will remain on probation until 2024 and remain an RSO until 2029.       Stephen Buchanan was a military vet who blamed PTSD and had his family rally around him. He was caught trying to have a threesome with 2 tweens and, after trying to lure a girl to his car, was found in possession of a kill kit in his trunk. He was sentenced to 3 years in prison and released in January 2019. He will be on probation until 2024 and the sex offender registry until 2029.       Michael Gentile was 64 when he was busted in 2015. Born on April 26th, 1948, he started his career in the field as a young man. From December 1980 to October 1983, he worked for A.G. Edwards and Sons, Inc. From December 1983 to December 1984 and again from June 1985 to March 1988, he worked for Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, and Smith, Inc. From January 1985 to June 1985, he worked for Amfuels Securities Corporation. From May 1988 to January 2002, he worked for Robert W. Baird and Co, Inc. From May 1988 to to June 2019, he worked for Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, LLC. All this money from Milwaukee to Troy earned Barrows a great deal of respect.        The inconsistencies within states regarding sentencing is sometimes hard to believe. Whereas the men caught in Milwaukee received on average a few years in prison, the men in Appleton, a city viewed as far more conservative, got off with far less punishment.       Michael L. Krezinski was a welcome exception. He received a year in jail followed by probation until 2016 and registration as a sex offender until 2037, when he will be nearly 55. He had gone AWOL from the army and was rearrested in 2016, but I was unable to find details on either case.      To be fair to Matthew Joseph Hyde, he was once a police officer. This portly piece of pork born on April 30th, 1980, spent almost his entire adult life in public service. He worked as an officer for the Mt. Morris Police Department and Clayton Township Police Department before serving as a ranger for the Genesee County Parks.      In 2015, he left law enforcement and joined the Burton Fire Department, ultimately working his way up to the president of its union. This prestigious position didn't stop him from chasing his former glory as a LEO: when he was arrested five years later, he had a loaded gun and police badges from numerous departments he did not work for in his truck.      This is indicative of a larger dark side that took over Hyde's fatter half, or all of him.        As a relatively young man, I saw the good side of Drake Bell when I was growing up. An actor from age five and a musician from age twelve, he made a name for himself in the television series Drake and Josh and from his numerous single, EP, and album releases. He also worked as a philanthropist, raising and donating money for and to causes like world thirst, cystic fibrosis, and child poverty.      In recent years, Bell has made the fact that he is, in spite of earlier public appearances, a bad man quite clear. His trouble began in 2010, when he was charged with a DUI in relation to an incident that occurred in San Diego in 2009. For someone who, in 2005, nearly died in an automobile accident that required 70 facial stitches, numerous surgeries, and the wiring of his mouth for two months to correct a broken jaw and neck, one would think he would learn his lesson.        Eric Hernan Gamonal is one of the less-discussed predators in the series, but probably deserves more attention: he was the only predator who could have defended himself in court. Gamonal had among the highest falls of any predator in show history and wound up in the legal system as a man facing felony sex crime charges rather than representing a client.       Born on April 17th, 1978, Gamonal had a good career. He graduated high school in 1997, completed his bachelor's degree in criminal justice in 2001, and completed his bar exam on November 19th, 2004, California Bar license number 232229. He had attended the Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, since renamed Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2015.      Eric Gamonal settled in San Fernando Valley, California, and began trying to work off the $250,000 in law school debt he was left with.      Matthew Clifton Cogburn was born on July 22nd, 1984, in Gray, Georgia, where he was raised and ultimately spent his life. Apparently, his childhood was fairly normal for a kid in Georgia: he spent eight years flattening out a pile of dirt near his home, enjoyed playing with LEGOs, was an average student in school, and was raised as a very religious child, attending church camps every summer. He graduated Jones County High School in 2002. Around 2004, he began chatting with strangers online, later attributing it to "undiagnosed OCD," a subpar explanation at best.      Cogburn worked and attended college in 2006, bouncing from apartment to apartment during the school year, and his employer had enough faith in him to actually give the man his job back after a minor setback occurred in the form of Cogburn's appearance on To Catch A Predator in July of that year.            Ashish Jain was arrested in fall 2009 during the sting in Livingston County, smack in the middle of Ann Arbor, Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Lansing. Stings had already occurred in two of those cities, and the airings of "To Catch A Predator" sent a strong message. He was sentenced to a year in prison, with credit for time served, and deported to India.       Michael Krauss was a Civil Air Patrol officer for 25 years before being convicted and sentenced to 16 months to 20 years in prison. He was released in 2011 after serving 2 years, and he must also register as a sex offender for life. He lives in Detroit.      John Deleo Custer was a server who spent 2 days salary on taxi fare to the bust house. He was convicted of child sexually abusive activity and sentenced to only 5 months probation, but he did have to register as a sex offender for 25 years and pay significant fines. He lives in Clio, Michigan, just north of Flint.

     Danny Masterson had a relatively successful career from the age of four. Singing in musicals and appearing in over 100 commercials over the course of a decade, he landed roles in Beethoven's 2nd  and Cybill before his breakthrough role as Steven Hyde in That 70's Show  from 1998 to 2006.
