In 150 minutes, he said "mmm... you're young," asked if she was sexually aroused, asked if she was hot, asked if she was a virgin, told her he wanted to give her and receive oral sex and further stimulate her, and said he would teacher "everything," and they would try "all positions."      Riverside County, California, has some of the best law enforcement in the country. Unfortunately, they also have the second-highest crime rate in the state, and, aside from being the first sting in which all of the predators were arrested in a parallel investigation by the Sheriff's Office and the sting in which the most men showed up (51 in three days), the Riverside investigation became notable because of this.      Marvin Harrison Smith II stood before a Dalton County, Georgia, judge on November 7th, 2007. He was a restaurant manager from Tifton, Georgia, who had followed in his father's footsteps with his prior work as a Baptist minister. He was a college graduate, a married man, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy with no criminal history facing decades in prison. Seems sad, until you realize that the crime he was convicted of was among the worst examples of the exploitation and victimization of children ever seen by a TV show and an organizations that have dealt with hundreds of these cases, respectively.      For Smith, his trouble began on July 15th, 2006.        Over the course of just eight hours, four men were busted soliciting minors for sex outside of Flint, Michigan in October 2020. All are still working their way through the court system, where they could and likely will face up to 20 years in prison. They have been indicted, entered pleas of not guilty, and had their trial dates set for this autumn; the cases are now in the discovery process. 1. Thomas Bates, 45, of Corunna, is a single father of a 14-year-old boy. He worked as a maitenance man for the government of Michigan and lost his wife to cancer in 2019.  2. Michael Lott, 32, of Elsie, was a corrections officer for the state of Michigan who came to watch a girl perform a sex act on herself after a vulgar chat about hardcore intercourse. 3. Shawn O'Brien, 18, of Westphalia, seemed to realize he was in trouble when he cried and told others not to do what he did.       Camron Tavis Lynn was among the 10 men arrested in an online sex sting conducted in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 2017. Because he was 28 and had no criminal history, his guilty plea in 2019 earned him a merciful sentence of 10 years probation and a $1,000 fine with lifetime registration as a sex offender. He wasn't out for long, though. He decided it would be a good idea to watch pornography and a Midwestern State University computer to avoid probationary measures aimed at preventing him from viewing porn at home, and, in December 2020, he was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison. He is set to be released in early 2025.        Blake Lee Pendley hooked up with a "15-year-old girl," actually a detective from the WFPD, on Craigslist and borrowed his grandmother's truck to drive to meet her, asking the arresting officer if he was a cop.        Harvey Weinstein looks absolutely miserable. 69 is not that old, especially when you are a wealthy person with access to some of the best medical care in the world, and already the fat Mr. Weinstein looks more frail: using a walker, appearing to demonstrate bruising indicative of a nutrition deficiency, and possessing the disposition of a zombie. While in prison, he was diagnosed with sleep apnea in 2019 and COVID-19 in 2020. This may just be karma for being a notorious asshole. Paul Watson, the star of Animal Planet's Whale Wars , attempted to introduce himself to Weinstein decades ago at an event; Weinstein rudely dismissed him and resumed ogling other celebrities. While Mr. Weinstein was a bully toward men, he was a cowardly predator toward women. With a temperate climate and a population of less than 100,000, this town is home for people mostly employed in education, banking, and medicine. In stark contrast to this serene face is the dark happening that occurred just weeks ago.       Eleven potential child molesters have been arrested in a sting in Greeley, Colorado. The arrests took place on June 25th and June 26th, 2021, to coincide with the Greeley Stampede event, when high numbers of people visit the town.      I am amused when Republicans talk about what a terrible person Nancy Pelosi is because they disagree with her policies; maybe they just recognize that she has been the most powerful Democrat in Congress since 2007 and will hold that job until 2023 and that her efforts led the way to the party becoming more popular than the GOP at the national level.            In 2014, Perverted Justice conducted its final operation and went out with a bang. 13 men were arrested over the course of 6 months in Hartford, Alabama, and their fates are detailed below.       Joshua Randall McClendon was convicted in 2016 and sentenced to six years probation, which will end in 2022, and lifetime RSO status.       Jared Michael Manuel had a long criminal history that included a statutory rape, several burglaries, and prescription drug charges, but had never been convicted. His streak ended in 2015 when he received two years probation and lifetime RSO status for a graphic online chat with a decoy. He was later convicted on the drug charges, but his failure in a diversion program and failure to register as a sex offender led to 18 months for the drug charges and six and 15 years for the Perverted Justice charges, all concurrent.
