Eleven Chomos Arrested In Nothern Colorado Sting

Named after famed politician Horace Greeley, Greeley, Colorado, is north of the big cities like Denver and Aurora. Founded as a utopian colony named Union, it comes pretty close to perfect. With a temperate climate and a population of less than 100,000, this town is home for people mostly employed in education, banking, and medicine. In stark contrast to this serene face is the dark happening that occurred just weeks ago.

Eleven potential child molesters have been arrested in a sting in Greeley, Colorado. The arrests took place on June 25th and June 26th, 2021, to coincide with the Greeley Stampede event, when high numbers of people visit the town. According to the Greeley Police Department, the men used the internet to contact decoys they believed were young teen girls with the intent to engage in sex acts.

The men ranged in age from 25 to 58 and were named as Omar Faruk, Gaylan Forbes, Gustavo Garza, Brian Homola, Khary King, Gilberto Luxlux, Ryan Mannon, Sean McCarthy, Poe Reh, Brandon Salazar, and Thor White. The child sex criminals have been charged with two felonies each: soliciting a child prostitute and attempted sexual assault of a child. These are class III and class IV crimes, respectively, meaning the men face two to 18 years in prison when, and I mean when, they are convicted. They will also have to register as sex offenders for the rest of their lives.
