The Feds Bust Peds in Wisconsin


     Since January 2021 alone, 131 men and women have been arrested by federal authorities in the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin for child sex crimes, these arrests comprising a tiny portion of those made in the state. In any case, it's safe to say the feds are busting peds in Wisconsin, and their cases will be posted in the upper section of this page as the suspects are convicted and sentenced to time in federal prison:
  1. January 21, 2021: Jacob J. Salewski, 24, was sentenced to five years in prison for possession of child pornography.
  2. January 21, 2021: Ronald P. Ortega, 47, was sentenced to 15 years in prison with seven years of supervised release and lifetime registration as a sex offender for bringing a lingerie and sex toys from his home in Indiana to a motel in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where he thought he would pay an adult woman to have sex with her teenage daughter and record the encounter on video.
  3. January 28, 2021: Alexander Kawleski, 44, was sentenced to 18 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old and secretly filming a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old in a locker room.
  4. February 16, 2021: Jesse K. Bell, 32, of Neenah, was sentenced to three years in prison followed by 10 years of sex offender probation for possessing violent sexual abuse material featuring children under 12 on his phone.
  5. February 17, 2021: Gerardo Junior Torres, 24, was sentenced to 20 years in prison with 30 years of probation after filming himself sexually assaulting a 15-year-old and a seven-year-old.
  6. March 22, 2021: Dale L. Bauwens, 35, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, was sentenced to five years in prison with five years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender for sharing images of an infant being sexually assaulted to an undercover FBI agent in Wisconsin.
  7. March 29, 2021: Evan C. Pasicznyk, 36, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, was sentenced to five years in federal prison followed by five years of supervised release and lifetime sex offender registration for distributing numerous images and videos of child sexual abuse material to an undercover FBI agent.
  8. May 4, 2021: Jose David Saldana-Ramirez, 38, was sentenced to 21 months in prison for illegally reentering the United States and failing to register as a sex offender.
  9. May 20, 2021: Darrin S. McElhatton, 41, of Appleton, who had been previously sentenced to three years in prison and six years of probation for possessing child porn, was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison with lifetime sex offender probation after a routine compliance check at a Grand Chute motel led to the discovery of more child pornography on his phone.
  10. May 27, 2021: Thomas E. Kerl, 39, was sentenced to 21 years and 10 months in prison followed by 25 years of probation for distributing child pornography, having previously been convicted of sexually assaulting two kids in state court in 2001.
  11. June 2, 2021: Anthony A. Atkins, 47, a lifelong sex offender, was convicted of possession of child pornography and violation of his sex offender registration and sentenced to 12 years in prison with 15 years of probation.
  12. June 11, 2021: Zachary C. Wood, 45, was sentenced to ten years in prison with five years of supervised release and lifetime RSO status for sharing images of children being physically and sexually abused to undercover law enforcement and making arrangements to have sex with a 14-year-old child.
  13. June 15, 2021: Adrian C. Gardiner, 42, was sentenced to 25 years in prison with 30 years of probation for repeatedly recording his sexual assault of a 12-year-old and threatening her family.
  14. June 25, 2021: Darryl K. Green, 53, was sentenced to 13 years in prison for soliciting dozens of prostitutes under the threat of force.
  15. June 28, 2021: Timothy J. Tetzlaff, 59, was sentenced to 30 years in prison with lifetime RSO status for sexually abusing at least eight children in the U.S. and Canada between 1987 and 2015. Because of his advanced age, he will likely die in prison.
  16. July 9, 2021: Alana J. Liphart, 36, a lifelong sex offender, was sentenced to eight years in prison followed by 25 years of probation for soliciting child pornography from a 14-year-old before paying the minor for sex.
  17. July 28, 2021: Shannon R. Donoho was sentenced to 17 years and six months in prison followed by 25 years of probation for possessing pornography featuring children as young as five and recording two 12-year-olds showering and using the bathroom.
  18. August 5, 2021: Christopher Cahill, 42, a repeat sex offender, was sentenced to 15 years in prison with lifetime probation for distributing child pornography.
  19. August 13, 2021: Travis C. Greil, 40, of Wausau, a teacher at a local high school for the prior 15 years, was sentenced to 102 months (8.5 years) in prison followed by three years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender for taking at least 132 up-skirt and up-blouse images of 82 female students over the course of 53 months between September 2015 and February 2020, when he was caught after being reported by a student.
  20. August 24, 2021: Devery Moses, 29, a former airline pilot from Kenosha, was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison and lifetime sex offender registration for soliciting sexually explicit images from children as young as 12 in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada and threatening to publish them if they did not comply with his bizarre sexual demands.
  21. September 14, 2021: Brian D. Lamphier, 52, was sentenced to 10 years in prison with 15 years' probation for photographing and sharing images of his sexual encounter with a 15-year-old boy.
  22. October 4, 2021: Calvin C. Freeman, Jr., 43, was sentenced to 45 years in federal prison followed by five years of probation and lifetime sex offender registration for human trafficking several young women across Wisconsin, Illinois, California, Louisiana, and Hawaii under the threat of force.
  23. October 7, 2021: Tonyiel Partee, 29, was sentenced to three years in prison with five years of probation for recruiting a minor female to engage in sex trafficking.
  24. October 12, 2021: Natalie J. Ticho, 25, was sentenced to seven years and six months in prison with ten years of supervised release and lifetime sex offender registration for possessing and distributing hundreds of images of child pornography.
  25. October 22, 2021: David M. Kruchten, 39, a teacher, was sentenced to 12 years in prison followed by 20 years of probation for recording his students in a hotel on a school trip.
  26. November 2, 2021: Alexander P. Bebris, 52, of Denmark, was a former police chief sentenced to five years in federal prison for possession of child sexual abuse material. However, he was allowed to remain free pending the resolution of his appeal. After his conviction was upheld, he was found with additional material that included children as young as three years of age. For this, he received an extra 10 years in prison followed by 10 years of supervised release and lifetime RSO status.
  27. November 9, 2021: Jay A. Liestman, 49, a repeat child sex offender, was sentenced to 15 years in prison with 20 years of probation for possessing child pornography.
  28. November 29, 2021: Neil Frank, a registered sex offender who was previously convicted of enticing a minor for sex at the state level and was already about to face another trial for doing the same thing as a registered sex offender, was sentenced to 13 years in federal prison with five years of supervised release after he was convicted of attempting to meet a 15-year-old girl at her apartment for sex.
  29. December 1, 2021: Benjamin T. Mann, 40, of Wisconsin Rapids, was sentenced to six years in federal prison followed by 15 years probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender for sending child pornography to a man in Ohio and discussing the sexual abuse of children via Kik. 
  30. December 2, 2021: Daniel Peggs, 34, the former superintendent of the Altoona School District, was sentenced to eight years in prison with ten years of supervised release after he met with other men around the country and recorded the repeated sexual assault of an underaged girl from Minnesota in North Carolina.
  31. December 3, 2021: Dakota P. Van Frachen, 26, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, was sentenced to five years in prison, five years of probation, and lifetime registration as a sex offender for sending child sexual abuse material to a New Jersey resident.
  32. December 20, 2021: David J. Dexter, 44, of Kingsport, Tennessee, was sentenced to five years in prison followed by five years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender for sending child sexual abuse material to an undercover FBI agent in Wisconsin.
  33. December 22, 2021: Brett Blomme, 39, a former Milwaukee County Children's Court judge, was sentenced to nine years in prison with 20 years of supervised release and lifetime sex offender registration for distributing dozens of graphic images of child sexual abuse via Kik.
  34. January 6, 2022: Richard M. Duellman, 43, of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release and lifetime registration as a sex offender after he asked a 15-year-old girl if she was on birth control, told her he wanted to "get in her pants," and then arranged to meet her at a local business.
  35. January 18, 2022: Scott D. Sundberg, 42, was sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by six years of supervised released and lifetime registration as a sex offender after reaching out to an undercover agent he thought was the mother of a 15-year-old girl, sending child sexual abuse material, and arranging to meet the minor at a motel for sex.
  36. January 24, 2022: Christopher J. Kone, 37, of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 13 years in prison followed by seven years of probation and lifetime sex offender registration for two counts of possession of child pornography.
  37. January 25, 2022: Jason J. Jordan, 49, of Madison, Wisconsin, was sentenced to four years in prison followed by ten years of supervised release and sex offender registration for transporting a 16-year-old girl from Utah to Middleton, Wisconsin, and forcing her to perform sex acts for money, taking advantage of the fact that she was homeless to exploit a child.
  38. February 3, 2022: Sean A. Jochims, 51, a neurologist from Pewaukee, Wisconsin, was sentenced to four years in prison with lifetime registration as a sex offender after an undercover detective found him in possession of numerous images of child pornography.
  39. February 28, 2022: William Heitman, 35, of Verona, Wisconsin, a sex offender who was on probation for six counts of child pornography possession at the state level, was sentenced to 12 years in prison with 15 years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender after police found him sleeping in his car, searched it, and found 1,000 images of child sexual abuse material featuring females, some as young as toddlers, being abused by adult males.
  40. March 3, 2022: John Woodward, 33, of Rockford, Illinois, who has spent his entire adult life in and out of prison (with prior convictions for child porn at the federal level and a parole violation at the state level) was sentenced to 10 years in prison with a lifetime of supervised release and sex offender registration for yet again viewing child sexual abuse material.
  41. March 8, 2022: Matthew Engelhardt, also 33, of Roswell, New Mexico, who was arrested for speaking with a 14-year-old girl for two years before traveling to Janesville, Wisconsin, to meet her for sex, was sentenced to 51 months in federal prison with 20 years of supervised release and lifetime registration as a sex offender.
  42. March 11, 2022: James Coney, yet another 33-year-old, of Madison, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 27 years and six months in federal prison followed by 25 years of supervised release and lifetime RSO status after being found guilty of 10 felony counts for trafficking five minors and attempting to traffic a sixth between Wisconsin and Illinois for prostitution.
  43. March 18, 2022: Cash Otradovec, 31, of Madison, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 17 years and six months in prison followed by 15 years of supervised release and lifetime registration as a sex offender for posing as two different college women on social media and using the profiles to extort boys between the ages of 15 and 17 into sending explicit images and videos.
  44. March 24, 2022: Ryan T. Shelton, 30, of Eagle River, Wisconsin, was sentenced to eight years in prison with 10 years of supervised release and lifetime registration as a sex offender for viewing a livestream of a 12-year-old girl engaged in sex acts shared by online acquaintances who, like Shelton, had a long history of such behavior.
  45. March 31, 2022: McKenzie W. Johnson, 35, a high school teacher and former hospital employee, was sentenced to 20 years in prison followed by 20 years of supervised release and lifetime sex offender registration for recording video calls of an 11- and a 13-year-old female engaging in sexual acts he instructed them to perform.
  46. May 4, 2022: Levi A Robb, 41, was sentenced to 18 years in prison with 20 years of supervised release and lifetime registration as a sex offender after a 10-year-old girl disclosed to her father that Robb had sexually abused her several years earlier and photographed it. When investigators went to arrest him for the assaults, they took his phone as evidence and, after analyzing it a number of days later, found unrelated child pornography on it. When they went to rearrest him for the child sexual abuse material charges, they found a second phone that had pictures of Robb abusing the 10-year-old girl when she was between the ages of five and seven.
  47. May 6, 2022: John E. Fredenburgh, 37; a teacher, coach, and trustee from Suring in Oconto County, Wisconsin; was sentenced to 25 years in prison with lifetime probation and RSO status for sexually and physically abusing a teenage girl and supplying her with alcohol and drugs over the course of more than five years.
  48. May 25, 2022: Noah Eisele, 36, of Madison, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 16 years in prison followed by 15 years of probation with lifetime sex offender registration for posing as a teenage boy online to solicit BDSM photos and videos from girls between the ages of 11 and 17 and sending them child pornography.
  49. June 22, 2022: Adan Corona-Fuentes, 45, of Grand Chute, Wisconsin, who is also an illegal immigrant, was sentenced to 15 years in prison followed by five years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender for posing as a teen boy to solicit sexually explicit photographs from minor girls in Indiana, Illinois, Texas, and other states. 
  50. June 29, 2022: Jason D. Ridolfi, 42, of Merrill, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 16 years and six months in prison followed by 20 years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender for possessing and/or producing more than 25,000 images of child sexual abuse material.
  51. June 30, 2022: Jeremy Hogenkamp, 45, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, already on supervision after having been convicted of child sexual abuse material possession in state court, was sentenced to 12 years and six months in prison followed by 25 years of probation and lifetime RSO status for possessing thousands of explicit images of children on his laptop and three phones at work and at home.
  52. July 12, 2022: Josiah Creasey, 35, of Darlington, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 20 years in prison with lifetime probation and sex offender registration for filming himself sexually assaulting a nine-year-old and a ten-year-old girl, videotaping them and another girl with a hidden camera in a bathroom, and uploading these materials to the internet while viewing other child sexual abuse material.
  53. July 18, 2022: Gerald E. Belmore, Jr., 55, of Cudahy, was sentenced to five years in prison followed by five years of probation and required to register as a sex offender for possessing and distributing numerous CSAM images and videos.
  54. July 21, 2022: Kyle Halgrimson, 38, of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 15 years in prison with three years of  supervised release and lifetime registration as a sex offender for production of child pornography after he pleaded guilty to filming his girlfriend sexually abusing a minor. His girlfriend, Angelique Boll, has also been charged and is awaiting a trial set to begin on October 31st; if convicted, she faces up to life in prison.
  55. July 27, 2022: Darwin J. Pamanet, 46, of Keshena, was sentenced to 30 years in prison followed by lifetime supervised release and sex offender registration for recording himself sexually abusing an eight-year-old girl on the Menominee Indian Reservation, which led to the discovery that he had previously abused young girls. 
  56. July 28, 2022: Jake Blankenheim, 48, of Cross Plains, Wisconsin (in Dane County), was sentenced to seven years in prison followed by 12 years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender for sharing child sexual abuse material featuring infants and toddlers over the course of several years on an online platform called Gigatribe; after sharing one image to an undercover agent, his technology was searched and more than 3,000 such images were located.
  57. August 10, 2022: Thomas J. Hook, 43, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, who has a prior 2000 conviction for third degree sexual assault of a minor after exposing his genitals to a 13-year-old as well as three convictions for failing to comply with the terms of his sex offender registration, was sentenced to 20 years in prison with lifetime probation for possessing and transporting child pornography. The guilty plea and sentence came after police found multiple images and videos that appear to have been taken by Hook on his phone and laptop.
  58. August 17, 2022: Smedley D. Butler, 51, of Maribel, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by 15 years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender for possession of child pornography. Butler had a prior conviction in the state of Wisconsin for the same offense in 2009.
  59. August 19, 2022: Marc F. Bennett, 43, of Jefferson, Wisconsin, a former Wisconsin Department of Administration employee who had a sexual conversation with an undercover detective he believed to be a 12-year-old girl and flashed his badge and claimed he came to rescue her when he was busted, was sentenced to 10 years in prison with five years of probation and lifetime RSO status for attempted enticement of a child.
  60. August 30, 2022: Kevin J. Mueller, 60, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, a registered sex offender who had a 1989 conviction for raping a six-year-old girl in Milwaukee County, was sentenced to 15 years in prison followed by 10 years of probation for speaking with an undercover FBI agent he believed to be the mother of a 13-year-old girl, expressing his desire to have sex with her, sending her videos and photos he wished for the child to view, and traveling for a meeting.
  61. September 15, 2022: Harry L. Euler, 46, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 25 years in prison followed by 20 years of probation and lifetime RSO status for traveling to the Philippines, paying at least two minor victims to send explicit images and videos of themselves, paying numerous adults to send him such material of minors (in several cases their own children), and sending similar material to others. 
  62. September 16, 2022: Matheau Martinez, 38, of Oshkosh, a registered sex offender with a 2014 conviction for causing mental harm to a child, was sentenced to 10 years in prison with lifetime probation and continued lifetime registration as a sex offender after pleading guilty to possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material on the BitTorrent site.
  63. September 21, 2022: Paul S. Osterman, 36, of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 25 years in prison with lifetime probation and registration as a sex offender after pleading guilty to sex trafficking of a child under 14 for meeting up with multiple children online in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota for sexual activities.
  64. September 29, 2022: Mark Spengler, 57, of Janesville, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison with 15 years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender and ordered to pay $47,000 in restitution for receipt of child pornography depicting violence toward prepubescent children, with the judge noting he appeared to have a deep-rooted attraction toward children.
  65. September 30, 2022: Cory Hereford, 51, of Beloit, was sentenced to 20 years in prison after being found guilty by a jury of sex trafficking an adult woman and a teenage girl by enticing them with drugs and threatening to subject them to withdrawal if they did not do as he demanded. He must also spend 20 years on supervised release and register as a sex offender for life; his codefendant, Tonyiel Partee, was sentenced last October after pleading guilty.
  66. October 12, 2022: Adam M. Smith, 35, of Ashland, a sex offender who served three years in state prison for possession of CSAM, was sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by 10 years of probation after his probation officer found child sexual abuse material on a tablet he illegally hid from said probation officer. 
  67. October 20, 2022: Alexander Kucharski, 21, of Stevens Point, was sentenced to five years in prison with 12 years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender for running multiple consecutive child aexual abuse material servers on Kik.
  68. November 17, 2022: Jovante L. Champion, 31, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 20 years in prison with five years of supervised release and lifetime registration as a sex offender for trafficking a 20-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl as part of his armed drug gang.
  69. December 13, 2022: Kristopher L. Halverson, 32, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, was sentenced to six years in prison followed by 20 years of supervised release after pleading guilty to soliciting photos of a 15-year-old girl from Texas; he was initially busted after soliciting a 12-year-old girl from Michigan.
  70. December 20, 2022: Kyle Orlando Luke, 27, of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, was sentenced to five years in prison with 15 years of probation after pleading guilty to accessing child sexual abuse material while on bond for a separate state charge of unlawful sexual contact with a minor.
  71. January 24, 2023: Kelly M. Schultz, 45, of Antigo, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by 20 years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender for posing as a teen girl to solicit intimate images of teenage boys online and being found in possession of hundreds of images and videos of child sexual abuse material when his home was searched. Schultz has a prior conviction for sexually assaulting a child.
  72. February 2, 2023: Timothy P. McDowell, 40, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 25 years in prison with 30 years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender for filming himself sexually abusing two minors on Kik.
  73. March 21, 2023: Christopher Bell, 37, of North Carolina, was sentenced to five years in prison with 25 years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender for soliciting nude photographs from a minor female. 
  74. May 31, 2023: James C. Gibson, 54, of Fennimore, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 18 years in prison with lifetime supervised release and sex offender registration after pleading guilty to soliciting explicit images from two minors as well as possessing videos of unknown children engaged in sexual acts.
  75. June 2, 2023: Donald A. Stenson, 67, of West Allis, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 10 years in prison, 10 years of probation, and $50,000 in fines and restitution for having sex with multiple minors in the Philippines before trafficking at least five minor victims between 2006 and 2019.
  76. June 9, 2023: Rocky R. Sonkowsky, 33, of Oconto County, Wisconsin, a self-described pedophile, was sentenced to 260 months (21 years and eight months) in prison followed by lifetime sex offender probation for taking photos of his sexual abuse of his girlfriend's infant, downloading explicit material involving children, and engaging in online communications with underage children.
  77. June 14, 2023: Wang Lo, 23, of Appleton, was sentenced to 15 years in prison with 15 years of prison and lifetime RSO status for sexually assaulting two teenage girls, recording the video of one of the assaults, and then threatening to send the video to the family and school of said girl if she didn't engage in further sexual acts with him.
  78. June 22, 2023: Julio Veleta Veleta, 36, of Sun Prairie, was sentenced to 87 months (seven years and three months) in prison with five years of supervised release for sex trafficking a 16-year-old girl in foster care throughout Green Lake County. He was one of 12 sex traffickers arrested in the scheme, with he and six others being charged in federal court and five more being charged, convicted, and imprisoned in state court.
  79. June 22, 2023: Evis Garcia Rivera, 33, of Manchester, Wisconsin, received the same sentence for the same crime.
  80. June 22, 2023: Avelino Sarceno Sarceno, 42, also of Manchester, was sentenced to 30 months (two years and six months) in prison followed by five years of probation.
  81. June 22, 2023: Samuel Martinez Corado, 29, of Markesan, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 28 months (two years and four months) in prison followed by five years of probation.
  82. June 22, 2023: Abilio Corado Gonzalez, 37, also of Markesan, was sentenced to 27 months in prison with five years of probation.
  83. June 22, 2023: Belter Arana Bautista, 36, of Brandon, Wisconsin, was sentenced to two years in prison with five years of probation.
  84. June 22, 2023: Oscar Martinez Corado, 21, also of Markesan, was sentenced to two years in prison followed by five years of probation.
  85. June 23, 2023: Stanley J. Seifert III, 45, moved from Virginia to Green Bay to be close to a 15-year-old girl he met online. He began an online sexual relationship and solicited photos and videos from her. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison with 20 years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender.
  86. July 24, 2023: Gerald L. Pamaska, Jr., 55, of Keshena, was sentenced to 258 months (21 years and six months) in prison for sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl in a hotel on the Menominee Indian Reservation.
  87. August 17, 2023: Colton H. Nelson, 24, of Hortonville, was sentenced to five years in prison, five years of probation, a $5,000 fine, and sex offender status for possessing over 7,000 images and videos of child sexual abuse and distributing a large number of them.
  88. September 6, 2023: Jonathan Julian, 37, of Black River Falls, was sentenced to 15 months in prison followed by 10 years of probation for failing to register as a sex offender in relation to a 2008 federal conviction in New York for possession of CSAM.
  89. September 19, 2023: Everett Wescott, 32, of Beloit, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 270 months (22.5 years) in prison followed by 25 years of probation for grooming a particularly vulnerable 12-year-old girl into a sexual relationship, transporting her across state lines, and documenting the abuse.
  90. October 23, 2023: Scott J. Meyer, 52, of Oshkosh, who had previously been convicted and sentenced to prison in a sting for engaging in an explicit conversation with somebody he believed was a 15-year-old girl, was sentenced to 130 months (10 years and 10 months) in prison for doing the same thing with another decoy posing as another 15-year-old girl just TWO MONTHS after his release in the first case. In addition to encouraging the girl to run away from home, in the chat, Meyer expressed concern about being caught, saying he would "go straight to prison for five to ten years."
  91. October 24, 2023: Jesse A. McCarty, 55, of Madison, was sentenced to nine months in prison for failing to register as a sex offender for a state sex crime conviction from Tennessee. He had previously been convicted in Tennessee for failing to register as a sex offender.
  92. November 9, 2023: Jaron J. Jackson, 36, of Milwaukee, was sentenced to 20 years in prison, 10 years of probation, and 25 years of sex offender registration for sex trafficking a minor and transporting child pornography. Jackson, a career criminal, transported two teenage runaways from Oshkosh and Green Bay to Chicago-area hotels, where he filmed himself engaging in explicit acts with one of the girls, attempted to have sex with the other, and then advertised them for sex online before transporting them to several states.
  93. November 9, 2023: Adrian Edwards, 40, of Madison, was sentenced to 11 years in federal prison for buying a train ticket to Iowa for a minor from Utah, bringing her into Wisconsin, and then trafficked her in hotels across the state. 
  94. November 17, 2023: William B. Bowers, 42, of Appleton, was sentenced to 15 years in prison, lifetime probation, and lifetime state and federal sex offender registration for possession of child sexual abuse material. In 2020, after completing a 20-year prison sentence stemming from a 1999 conviction for sexually abusing a minor in Waukesha County, a concerned individual reported suspicious sites bookmarked on his computer to his probation officer, which led to his re-arrest.
  95. November 21, 2023: Rajeev Isree, 32, a Jamaican citizen living in Baraboo, was sentenced to 78 months (6.5 years) in prison for sexually assaulting a minor girl, filming it, and sending the victim the video. If he is not deported, he will spend 10 years on probation.
  96. December 4, 2023: Cory J. Herthel, 40, of Green Bay Wisconsin, a YOUTH PASTOR, was sentenced to 15 years in prison with 20 years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender for exchanging explicit images with children he met on mission trips in Venezuela, Ecuador, Cuba, and Spain.
  97. December 20, 2023: Steven Stathas, 33, of West Bend, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 15 years in prison followed by 10 years of probation for online solicitation of a minor. Stathas, already a registered sex offender for prior felony convictions out of Kentucky, began communicating from Wisconsin with a girl in his home state, drove several times to engage in sex with the victim, and then brought her to Wisconsin without the knowledge or consent of her guardians.
  98. January 11, 2024: Robert D. Sutton, Jr., 52, of Sun Prairie, was sentenced to 18 years in prison with a lifetime of supervised release for photographing himself sexually assaulting two teenage girls after being previously convicted of assaulting a different minor in 2007.
  99. January 18, 2024: Anthony J. Michalek, 38, of Langlade County, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 15 years in prison, 20 years of probation, and lifetime state and federal RSO status for receiving CSAM. Michalek had a prior conviction stemming from a 2007 sexual assault in Dane County.
  100. February 13, 2024: John D. Schaefer, 35, of Menasha, was sentenced to 25 years in prison followed by lifetime probation and RSO status for sexually assaulting a 15-month-old toddler on video. A search of his computer revealed 156,000 images and videos (2.2 terabytes) of child sexual abuse material in one of the largest such cases in Wisconsin history.
  101. April 16, 2024: Seth W. Fagan, 33, of La Crosse, was sentenced to 18 years in prison with lifetime probation and RSO status for posing as a teenage male to receive explicit images from hundreds of girls around the country and even extorting several of them.
  102. April 23, 2024: Cornelius Jackson, 35, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 30 years in prison followed by 10 years of probation after being convicted of five sex trafficking charges for his actions sex trafficking women over the period of six years.
  103. April 24, 2024: David A. Johnson, 37, of Marinette County, Wisconsin, was sentenced to 12 years in prison followed by 15 years of sex offender probation for sending explicit images to and requesting similar images from actual minors in Florida and Ohio before being caught by an FBI agent posing as a 14-year-old.
