The Feds Bust Peds in Wisconsin

Image
Since January 2021 alone, 135 men and women have been arrested by federal authorities in the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin for child sex crimes, these arrests comprising a tiny portion of those made in the state. In any case, it's safe to say the feds are busting peds in Wisconsin, and their cases will be posted in the upper section of this page as the suspects are convicted and sentenced to time in federal prison: January 21, 2021: Jacob J. Salewski , 24, was sentenced to five years in prison for possession of child pornography. January 21, 2021: Ronald P. Ortega , 47, was sentenced to 15 years in prison with seven years of supervised release and lifetime registration as a sex offender for bringing a lingerie and sex toys from his home in Indiana to a motel in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where he thought he would pay an adult woman to have sex with her teenage daughter and record the encounter on video. January 28, 2021: Alexander Kawleski , 44, was sentenced to 18 years

Five Years Later, Kevin Spacey Finally Faces Justice

Image
Less than five years. That's how long it took the world to collectively forget and forgive Kevin Spacey's serial rape of children. When Billionaire Boys Club was released in 2018 after the allegations against Spacey surfaced in October 2017, it grossed just $618 domestically on its opening weekend, and most of the $2.7 million made from the film's run (a failure against a $15 million budget) came from overseas. This is a problem far too common around the world. Roman Polanski, Harvey Weinstein, and others have sought solace abroad to hawk their crappy films to a global audience and succeeded. Of course, Weinstein will die in prison. Still, Spacey is slated to appear in an Italian film called The Man Who Drew God and an American film called Peter Five Eight . If you see either of those films, you'll be letting the industry know that he is no longer a pariah and is free to be cast in any film or show he'd like.      Now, let's hope the same statement on Wein

With Josh Getting Nearly 13 Years in Prison, Jim Bob Duggar's Career Ends

151 months. 12 years and seven months. That's how long Josh Duggar can look forward to seeing the inside of a jail cell. The guilty verdict against Duggar back in December was a huge victory, as is the lengthy prison sentence. However, it could have been much better. Originally, Duggar was convicted of receipt and possession of child pornography with a maximum of 40 years in prison, and, as such, the government wanted a sentence of 20 years in federal prison. Just before sentencing, though, a judge tossed out the possession conviction after an appeal from Duggar's legal team, meaning he was only sentenced on the possession and only faced a maximum of 20 years. Mr. Duggar's case was among the worst child sexual abuse material possession cases prosecutors have ever seen, involving the torture and rape of babies. That's on top of Duggar's history of molesting his own sisters and being exposed cheating on his wife during the Ashley Madison scandal.      While relig
