To Catch A Predator Update: Long Beach, Part Two

Scary is as scary does with scary men caught by the fuzz.

Michael Seibert was previously mentioned in the Riverside sting, where he received no significant airtime. However, besides chatting with 3 other decoys across California, he decided to show up at the Long Beach sting. With a previous conviction for armed robbery and a demonstrated pattern of criminal activity, he could have been put away for 10-20 years where he belonged. However, he got 3.5 years in prison, to be served concurrently with his Riverside sentence of 3.5 years. He was released in 2009 and must register as a sex offender for life. He has a scar from a TBI as a child and may live with his parents.

Robert Sierras had been fired from his job at the Post Office after being exposed in 2004 and planned to sue Perverted Justice. However, after he hit up a Petaluma decoy and then groomed a Long Beach decoy and met her at a public park, he was arrested. He received a sentence of 3 years in prison and was released in 2008. He must register as a sex offender for life.

Michael Warrecker spoke with whom he thought was a child about his rape fantasies and his desire to cut her and suck her blood as well as perform anal sex on her. He pled no contest to avoid a lengthy sentence and received 4 months in jail, probation until 2010, and lifetime RSO status. He currently lives in Nampa, Idaho, and appears on that state's registry.

Maroof Farooq got exactly what he deserved. He brought 2 friends, one adult and one minor, with him to anally gangbang a child. The others, however, had no idea that the person they came to visit was a minor or that Farooq used sexual language with her, and they were, rightly so, released after being, to their shock, detained. Farooq only received probation and sex offender registration for his crime, but he is believed to have spent 6 years in custody fighting deportation to Pakistan, which, ultimately, proved unsuccessful, as he is listed on his Megan's Law page as "DEPORTED."

Of the 40 men who showed up, 38 were arrested (Maroof's 2 friends were let go) and 35 charged and convicted. The three who got off were unfortunate cases, as one had a series of scary run-ins with the law later on. Kevin Lasz would later be convicted for the same crime in 2015 and, later that year, be arrested for raping an elderly woman. His sentence in the case is unknown, but he remains in prison and will likely remain for a long time before being released and registered as a sex offender for life. Uribe Lazo and Mario Martinez were the other men, although I know nothing about them besides that they are 37-39 from Los Angeles and 47-49 from Rancho Cucamonga respectively.

Selvan Galeano is in violation of the terms of his lifetime RSO status, his 5 years probation having expired in 2012. His violation is not listed, but, as his picture is old, a location on him may likely be unknown to authorities at this time.

Brandon Williams came for an 11-year-old decoy, the youngest on the show. He received 5 years probation and lifetime RSO status despite crossing state lines and exposing himself on a webcam, a couple of federal violations that, if pursued, could have put him in prison for years. He is truly a mystery predator, as Dateline calls him "Robert Williams." Either name is common, and, despite searching the registries in California and his home state of Utah, I could not find ANYONE with that last name. He may have moved out of state, as someone with that littany of offenses would not be subject to removal from the registry.

James Conrad Valdez also came for an 11-year-old; a disturbing number of people solicited the decoy that nobody thought would get a bite. He was sentenced to 5 years probation, which expired in 2012, and lifetime RSO status. He lives in Arcadia.

Corye Blagg was nonchalant about molesting a child. He moved fast and laughed at the mention of his bringing chocolate-flavored condoms, even going into detail about how he had almost accidentally had sex with a transvestite. He received 3 years probation and lifetime RSO status. He was quite easy to find thanks to his unusual name, his DOB, and his crime, and he is now an RSO in Cochran, Georgia. He looked like a pedophile then and he does now.

James Cisneros was equally nonchalant and infinitely more disturbing. He used a screen name so graphic it could not be aired (remember, they aired Warrecker's "can_i_rape_you_anally" in the same episode) and, in his chat, mentioned molesting another 13-year-old. Despite this, he received only 3 years probation and lifetime RSO status. He still lives in LA.
