Chaotic Courts During COVID

The justice system, especially with sexual offenses, is often painfully slow. Under investigation for at least a year, Kozicki was arrested in November 2019 and went through lawyers, indictments, plea and bond hearings, and an arrest for bond jumping.

During COVID, things only slowed further, and, on February 12th, a plea hearing not guaranteed to conclude the case is scheduled. Justice may be slowed, but it will be served, as always, one way or another. You have already spent time in jail and lost your chance to have friends or a high school diploma, Cody Kozicki.

You are going to be convicted for what you did to damage those children. It will not be nearly enough, but you are going to go to prison, register as a sex offender, and pay fines and reparations. A convicted felon, you will be permanently barred from voting or owning those weapons you rednecks seem to like. On the bright side, you can work on your figure in prison, and I am sure Bubba in the next cell over will appreciate it. You live with your grandma, and she can only live to be so old. You are going to have a rough go getting a job or making anything of yourself.

Cody Kozicki, you made your bed. Your walk may be slowed because of COVID, but you are going to have to lie in it. Have a nice rest!
