Scott Shackford Advocates For Pedophiles And KKK Members In The Same Article

 

     For a man with the douchiest first name ever conceived and the last name "Shackford," it seems pretty plausible that he spends his afternoons molesting kids in a white robe. Judging by his forehead as well as what he wrote, I'm guessing his mom dropped him on his head three or four times as a kid. Hell, most people would if their baby came out with a head bigger than their body.

     His arguments against keeping a sex offender registry as well as creating a hate offender registry leave me unsure of where he stands politically aside from being an idiot. The only source he ever quoted was another deplorable pedophile activist named Lenore Skenazy. He seems to think that it is the job of the criminal justice system to make sure nobody ever finds out what they did. Yet he also thinks businesses have a right to discriminate while hiring.

     His writing, besides being out of touch and boring, demonstrates a complete lack of understanding regarding the issue. He seems to think that the vast majority of sex offenders aren't dangerous. What he fails to realize is that, seemingly in line with part of his contradictory argument, prison doesn't change people and their programmed behaviors. Because someone has not been caught again does not mean they did not reoffend, and the public has a right to know that people predisposed to sex or hate offenses live in their neighborhood. 

     Even the most liberal of people, like myself, will argue that the only people who don't believe these degenerates belong in prison are these degenerates.
