     Steven Bayer is a scary man with convictions for drugs, battery, and operating while intoxicated. He was convicted of first-degree sexual assault of a child (habitual criminality) and received a whopping: 11 months. He failed to update his sex offender registration in 2002 and received 4 months in jail. He lives at 804 Miller Street.

     Wendy Schuchardt demonstrates why female sex predators are deserving of attention. She repeatedly sexually assaulted a female child and received 10 years in prison. She was released in April 2020 and must remain on probation until 2027 and register as a sex offender for life. She lives at 8783 Alder Lane.

     Wayne Effenberger could have been stopped. He had sex with a 17-year-old in 1999, pled guilty to 2 misdemeanors, and received 9 months in jail. His wife divorced him that year, and he was evicted from his house the following year. Over the next 5 years he was sued for $15,000, and his ex filed a restraining order against him. In July 2012, he was arrested for child enticement, groping, exposure of a minor to harmful matter, and possession of child pornography. The first 2 charges were dropped, but he was found guilty of the latter charges and received 3-4 years in a state prison with 2 years probation. He lives at 9854 North White Lake Road. 

     Mark J. Gregurich was, however, convicted of child enticement, spent 2 years in prison (December 2016 to December 2018), and must register as a sex offender until 2038. He lives at 14128 County Road AA.

     Allah Mumin Abd was convicted of first-degree sexual assault of a child. He was only 19, but the charge means that the child was 13 or younger and sustained injury. He spent 4 years in a state prison and also got lifetime RSO status. He lives at 8318 Red Bank Road.

     Seth L. Strehlow had a rough year in 2012. He was charged with 4 counts of felony bail jumping, child exploitation, child enticement with sexual contact, exposure of one's genitials to a minor, exposure to a minor of harmful matter, using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, second-degree sexual assault of a child, and possession of child pornography. Likely, his victims' year was worse. He was sentenced to 7 years in prison for a life-eligible case and released in 2019 after serving his full sentence. He must remain on probation until 2034 and register as a sex offender for life. He lives at 8466 Elm Road.

     Mark T. Roach sexually assaulted a child under the age of 12 when he was 55 and was sentenced to 5 years in prison. He was released in November 2016 after serving the full sentence, and he will remain on probation until 2022. He lives at 12721 Logan Road.

     Thomas C. Woulf was convicted of possession of child pornography, spent 3 years in prison, and must register as a sex offender until 2033 (a 20-year-stay), when he will be 73. He lives at 13350 Woodland Lane, and may go back to jail, as he is non-compliant.
